The funeral service for the late Ian McLeod (Tosh) will take place at the Tabernacle Church this afternoon at 2pm.

Salmon Consultation Engagement Public Meeting

Unity Marine has invited four independent specialists in aquaculture technology, marine environmental science, fish health ecology to the Falkland Islands as part of the public engagement process on salmon aquaculture.
The speakers will attend a series of public meetings, featuring a short presentation followed by an open question-and-answer session.
Members if the public are welcome to attend:

Carcass Island has vacancies for the following staff for the 2026/27 summer season:
Chef
Housekeeper/Baker
The successful applicants for both positions will be highly motivated and competent in all aspects of supporting a small but busy Tourist Lodge, including catering for house guests and visiting cruise ship guests to a high standard. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in these roles at Carcass.
