Liz Roberts is the Content Lead at Falklands Radio, and the regular presenter of “The Morning Show”. Although she had presented various shows for almost a decade, she didn’t become fulltime until 2014 (when she joined the news team as the News Editor). Previously she worked for the first ever television station here in the Falklands.
Originally from Bangor in North Wales, Liz moved to the Falklands in 1994 when she was just 16. She has lived here ever since, and is a mother to three sons.
She boasts a good knowledge of the UK Singles Chart spanning the decades, and although she would describe her music taste as eclectic, she has admitted to taking guilty pleasure in cheesy pop!
Music is a big passion in Liz’s life, which is what led her to apply for a job at Falklands Radio in the first place.
